Fritz Hansen cosy conversations: Cecilie Manz

Cecilie Manz is one of the leading Danish designers of her generation, producing designs for Fritz Hansen, Duravit, Bang & Olufsen and Muuto, amongst others. In her own words, Cecilie Manz’s work has always revolved around simplicity, the process of working toward a pure, aesthetic and functional object. That philosophy is epitomised with these three new designs, produced as part of Fritz Hansen’s Fall 2024 collection.

Monolit Chair

Cocooning the guest in a welcoming embrace, Monolit is a contemporary and distinct chair design that elevates dining and lounge atmospheres with soft-featured elegance and a tranquil expression. Monolit’s organic curves and sheltering single plywood shell shape offer a sense of privacy and a space underneath to store personal items.

The distinctive shape and a wide selection of upholstery options and piping details establishes a curated look that makes any interior stand out, be it a restaurant, informal meeting area, lounge or domestic environment.

The Fritz Hansen Monolit chair is available as dining height (46cm) and lounge height (42cm).

Pouf Seat
